Sparring Class
Wednesday, 7-8:00pm Technique/Sparring
Sparring class is officially in full swing and we would like to share some of the details so you can get you or your student involved in this important part of their Taekwondo training. We will be running sparring simultaneously with technique class and will split the classes into the front and back rooms, mix the two, or any combination of the two approaches, depending on class sizes.
Who?
This sparring class is open to:
• Current students
• Light green belt and higher
• 14+ years old
• Younger students with permission
If you have a younger student please talk to Mr. Hauth, Mr. Hoekenga or email hauthsfamilytaekwondo@gmail.com for permission to join.
Sparring Gear
All students that participate in sparring class at Hauth’s Family Taekwondo are REQUIRED to own the gear listed below. Wearing gear not only protects the students from injury, but helps the learning process. Not all gear will be worn at all times, but students must have all gear available in class to fully participate.
• Headgear
• Sparring gloves
• Chest & rib guard
• Shin guards
• Boots
• Mouthguard
The prices below will save 15% off retail when you purchase the BUNDLE and 10% off retail when you purchase SEPARATES!*
If you have pads already, feel free to wear them. If you do not have pads or do not have all of the pads required and need separates, please purchase them through Hauth’s to ensure all students have the same level of protection while sparring.
*The vendor shipping rates are very high! While our prices may look similar to the retail prices online, shipping will make all gear 10-15% more expensive if purchased directly through the vendor.
